Our History
Rumford, Maine was once a thriving, young mill town filled with a rich social life, housing callused and kind-hearted families, tucked in the foothills of the Western Mountains. While the callused and kind-hearted folk remain, Brick & Stone seeks to reignite founding qualities once again by providing a both local and destination establishment, connecting patrons to the true heritage of our New England roots. The majestic mountains and stretching lakes, only minutes away, Brick & Stone matches the exhilaration of the surrounding natural beauty with a rustic, high-quality eatery to share life, strife, and a pint or bourbon with those who truly appreciate it.
